Blog #10-Holidays

I think that the holiday for the families is awesome because it helps a good cause. I like it because it provides help for families and in areas that need assistance and support. Which I’m sure they would be grateful for because I know that people in  those kind of situations appreciate anything that helps. Even the smallest things. I also think that this is cool because it would have a such a huge impact on the children of the families because I’m sure that some of them aren’t living the life that kids should have because they are too busy trying  to support their families. Which I think is not right.

Blogging Challenge #9- Heroes

The greatest hero in my life would probably have to be my father because he has overcome so many challenges throughout his life. Which is very inspiring to me.

As a child he lived in a poor home in a poor country that I couldn’t possible stand living in. Iv’e been there myself and it makes Springfield look like paradise. During that time he saw and lived through things that no child should ever see. Such as cruel violence and death. He also had many close encounters himself which almost cost his life, but did to others close to him. Such as friends and family. Luckily for him though because he was never drafted into the army for the war that was going on and was able to come to the United States and become a citizen. Where at first he still lived a poor life but then was finally able to work his way up and live a decent life. After several years of hard work. And ever since then he’s had children which he has always put before himself. which I think is just amazing. I hope to become somewhat close of a man and father as he is.

snow

waking up to a white winter wonderland in a cozy bed weekday mornings gives me one of the greatest feelings in the world. To peek out my window and to see the white trees and cotton fluffy grass along with the frosty cold streets bring two words into mind. No school. As I am overjoyed with this news I run out to the cold crunchy snow and play until I’m frozen from head to toe. The white minerature blizzard that came overnight is truly welcoming to me.

Blog Post #7-Animal in the wild

If I could see one animal in the wild, I think it would be a Komodo Dragon. But only if it wouldn’t attack me. I think it would be cool to see one though because they seem to be incredible creatures and it would be fascinating to observe their real life styles. I would also like to see them because I know that they are one of the things that are closest to a dinosaur. Which is awesome because as we all know they do not exist anymore. But at least it would give me some inside knowldege of how they would have lived if they did exist. Which is more than enough reason for me to go see them in the wild.

Blogging Challenge #4. Eearth Day/Hour

I’ve actually never really heard about Earth Day or hour since this blog which makes me wonder how long this has actually been going on. But now that I know about it I think it’s a pretty cool idea and is something that might possibly make a difference in our world. Not saying that it would make a huge difference in just that one time because in reality it would probably hardly do much at all. But it’s at least a start to make people realize of what is becoming of our planet and to hopefully influence them to be more energy efficient. If every person did that, a huge change could happen for the better. But it all begins with a little help from everyone. And I am willing to take part in that.

Blog Post #7-Slice of Life writing

“Alright” she said. “I’m not gonna cry this time.”

Ever since my sister started going to school she always began to cry before my mother went to work because she didn’t get to see her as much as she use to. She already had a hard enough time saying goodbye to her after being with her all day, and now that she only saw her for half that time, it crushed her. But today she decided that she would break her habit of weeping. So when the time came where my mom was about to take off to work, my sister gave her a hug and kissed her goodbye. Once my mom closed the door I looked to her to see what her reaction would be. And to my surprise she kept her ground and didn’t cry. But then the next second later she rushed to the phone and called my mom even though she just left 10 seconds ago.
